Ben's restaurant is a time capsal...this place has not changed since the 1950's...you almost feel like your on a movie set or you went through the twilight zone..they have a great or the best Montreal smoke meat sandwich in town...What is recommended is the Big Ben's Montreal smoke meat sandwich, fries, dill pickel and a cherry coke...enjoy!

We ate at the best smoked meat restaurant, Ben’s. The place is famous for being around since 1950, having great sandwiches at cheap prices. It was great! We went back here in 2006, the year after this trip and Ben’s was in strike. I don’t know if they ever… Exploring Montreal

The first thing on our list of things to do in Montreal was to have a smoke meat sandwich at Ben's restaurant. I am told to have Big Ben's smoke meat sandwich, fries, pickle and a cherry coke which they are famous for. Well we did and it was awesome, by far the best smoke meat sandwich I have ever had, even Wanda… Montreal Canada Trip 2006
