In Ouidah we stayed at this posh resort called Casa del Papa which was way out of our price range but incredibly nice. The guy who works at the reception is not nice, though. It's in the middle of nowhere down this random dirt road with no lights. We watched CNN and went to sleep when we got there…

We spent two days in Cotonou, mainly going from embassy to embassy to get the visas for Togo, Ghana and Ivory Coast. I had the impression of a nice and peaceful country. There are for sure many interesting places, like Lake Dahomé or the northern regions, but unfortunately we had no time...
