Great pubs, amazing food, good people, awesome music. Sep 25, 2011
Bangalore, or Bengaluru the silicon city of India. One has to visit the immaculately planned IT parks. Bangalore has the greatest number of metal-heads in India. There are a great number of pubs serving drinks and food, most importantly, playing very good music. Jazz and the blues, metal, classic rock - you name it. A lot of international bands have visited the city lately, because of the high strength of people appreciating rock and metal music. The climate of Bangalore is very pleasant, thus tourists from colder regions feel comfortable. There are little and big food joints scattered all over the city, serving almost everything - Indian, continental, south Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Lebanese, Persian etc etc.

Not a lot of heritage structures though, Bangalore being a new city. Bangalore Palace is a must-see. So is a pub called Peco's by church street, close to MG road.
