Bendigo Nitelife Reviews

Aug 19, 2007
Bendigo has quite a few niteclubs that are open until 5.00 AM much to the dismay of local authorities who have to constantly attend reports of drunken behaviour and assaults. Having said this, many people go out to the clubs without any problems whatsoever. At the time of this review, a lockout of 2.00 AM is being appealled against by the owners of the licensed premises.

Apart from the niteclubs, there are many pubs that have their own booked bands that play often. The pubs in Bendigo are often done up in a lovely old world trend and are warm and welcoming. There is little problems for patrons who attend Bendigo pubs. I would recommend "The Bridge Hotel", "The Foundry", "The National" and "The Shamrock" as being some of the better pubs to attend.

Bendigo has a Theatre where there are often great performances from classical guitarist and pianist to full theatre productions. The threatre is in View Street just up from the fountain in the middle of town. It resides next to the Bendigo Art Gallery and opposite some great antique and curio shops.
