Bem Brazil Manchester Reviews
Bem Brazil Feb 28, 2010
This review refers to the branch of Bem Brazil on the edge of the Northern Quarter, near the Ancoats road. There is a chain, and apparently the other ones aren't as cozy.
Bem Brazil is a Brazillian style steak house. Basically, this makes it a terrible idea to take a vegetarian. They pay less money, but really, I would take my veggie friends elsewhere.
The concept is essentially that you get to eat unlimited meat. People come around with skewers of very nice, very well cut meat and slice you off pieces. The meat is very well seasoned, so avoid it if you have taught yourself to hate salt. It is great quality and really tasty, though. You can also help yourself to rice, potatoes and beans, and lots of salad, from the buffet. Someone will bring you some chips too, though, so don't fill up on the lettuce.
The service is friendly and prompt, and the wine is nice. You would probably pay about £50-60 for two people to eat and have a drink, so not the cheapest, but you are getting to eat as much excellent steak, chicken, sausage and prawn as you can hold.
I've been several times and it is consistently good.
