Belize City Vacation Guide

Belize City is the largest city in the Latin American country of Belize, with a population of about 71000. It is located at the mouth of the Belize River and the Caribbean Sea making it a very picturesque location. Cruise ships bring most of the tourists that visit the city here. The water is far to shallow for them to pull directly up to the mainland so the cruise goers are tendered in by the locals.
Belize is a great hub for people hoping to visit the nearby Mayan ruins. It is also known for it’s tours to nearby baboon sanctuaries and for it’s outdoor excursions.
