We didn't get into Jerome until around 4PM, right when everything was closing...this was a spontanious trip and it was hard to get everybody to go...because it's hard to please the whole family.
But we drove up to Jerome and when we got there we were all hungry. My uncle suggested his favorite pizza place that he goes to everytime he goes up in the mountains! The pizzaria is called BELGIAN JENNIE’S BORDELLO BISTRO & PIZZERIA and let me just tell you...I think this was the best calzone I have ever had in my life...and I've had a lot of calzones! There was just enough fillings and the calzone wasn't overly dry like some i have had. The service was very good...it's one of those towns where everybody in the town knows each other and you could sense the closeness upon entering the pizzaria! If you ever go into Jerome, or even drive by it, I definitely recommend getting some Pizza at Belgian Jennie's!! =) Part of the My yearly Vacation travel blog |
