Belantis Vergnügunspark Leipzig Reviews
From funny faces to wild rides Apr 02, 2009
'Belantis Vergnügungspark' is the only amusement park in eastern Germany.
It’s quite new compared with many other German theme parks and therefore the attractions aren’t that countless so far but this won’t make a visit less worth!!
The park is divided into different theme areas like 'Belantis Castle', 'Beach of Gods' and 'Pharaoh’s Valley'.
Both adventure lovers and more cautious roller coaster fans have the chance of finding a suitable attraction there.
The 'Dragon Ride' or the 38 metres high water slide in form of a pyramid (highest slide of this design in Europe) are good fun for everybody, who enjoys action but an adventure playground or digging for silver nuggets are a welcome change from the daily round as well.
I’ve been there twice and the trips to Belantis were very entertaining indeed.
The second time I’ve visited the park the positive development concerning more attractions was clearly visible!
The huge swing 'Belanitus Rache' ('Belanitus revenge') is definitely worth more than one ride! When we hopped on this attraction it was pouring and the authentic feeling of sitting in a lifeboat on open sea added the last pinch of action (just for roller coasterholics like me ;-)).
As you see an exciting and easy-going time for young and old is guaranteed!
Different shows and varied activities bring amusement to everyone and creatively and fancy designed restaurants offer a relaxing rest in atmospheric ambience.
A day at Belantis is definitely a pretty joyful and affordable possibility of having a break from your daily routines!
