Belaegningen Hostel Reviews
A Little Basic Place to Stay May 04, 2006
I stayed at the Hostel Belaegningen in May 2006 for 2nights. It was part of a Contiki tour I was doing of Scandi and Russia. I can honestly say it's one of the best hostels I've stayed at - it's very clean, the rooms are great, and the location was very nice. It's not in the city center, but it's no problem taking a bus or train into the city center. I opted for the train, and it was a 10-15 minute walk to the train station and another 15 minutes on the train. If you want a hostel you can stumble back to after a night on the town, this probably isn't the one. But if you want a place where you can rest and have some relaxation and quiet.
It had a good place to go and lounge at night and free laundry service. A very safe place. The rooms are quad share, have 2 bunkbeds and are actually quite good with good clean linen. I highly recommend this hostel. Part of the Contiki 2006 - Scandinavian and Russia Tour. travel blog |
