Beijing is loaded with some of China's most famous tourist attractions. Some of the places we've been are Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Dashilar, Ming Tomb, Jade Factory and the Great Wall.Visiting Beijing will not be complete without eating in a Chinese Restaurant and tasting their deliciously Peking Duck.
Two thumbs up for Westin Plaza Hotel Beijing. We stayed for three days and it was so relaxing and comfty. Complete with all the amenities including free wifi.

Beijing, China -› Sydney, Australia -› …
I went to Beijing in February for business. We had the most incredible time. The first day we spent at the Summer Palace wandering around lazily shooting photos and joking with each other. That afternoon we ate our first chinese meal, in this little dive in the Historic district of Beijing. The next day we all hopped into a van and drove to the Great Wall. It was amazing! We again took our time and shot tons of photos. Then we rode the Toboggan ride down the mountain. Too much fun.

Shanghai, China -› Xi'an, China -› …
The following morning we flew to Beijing , the modern capital and political centre for China . In contrast to the Shanghai and Xian, Beijing is a modern and open city and despite its size of 13.5 million is relatively easy to get around. Our first afternoon was spent exploring one of the old Hutong…

I went to China for the month of May 2006, so study the long term effects of human development on aquatic ecosystems. As such I traveled to extremely rural places and went where no white person had ever been before. Overall the trip was eye opening!

Jiu Men Xiao Chi
Open 24 hrs, Jiu Men Xiao Chi served an array of Beijing-style snack stalls, which run back hundred of years in time. Most of them first opened before the turn of century. Over the years, they combine together under one roof in a courtyard house to form one large restaurant as bus…

I visited a friend who lives in Shanghai currently. I had a great time.I met so many people who were all very nice.No matter what happened to my friend and me there was always someone who helped us out. Some things were not exactly as I hoped they would be.For example,it seemed when going to sights with a view it was a foggy day.But still the Pearl Tower and the Great Wall were amazing. And to be honest it made them even more special. However, now I've got a reason to go back when it's sunny...

Although I had some time in Beijing, it was mostly about work. In the spare time (evening) I enjoyed Beijing!!! after the culture shock was over in about 2 days, I was starting to love the place!!! At one time I had a ride of 1,5hrs with a guy who was living in Beijing, he told me things that you could not find in any book!!!
Want to go back sometimes and stay longer!!! and visit the club china doll!

The Great Wall of China
In the morning
we went to the Great Wall of China, at
Mutianyu. The mountains alone were worth seeing, heavily forested and with
sharp ridges. The Wall itself seems rather excessive in places – what crazy
Mongolian would try to ride ten thousand horsemen over th…
