Beijing Bites Bengaluru Reviews
Indochinese food - cheap yet tasty! Aug 17, 2008
I'm always a sucker for Indochinese food. Nothing represents the amalgamation of culture better than this cuisine, which surprisingly is foreign for the Chinese but is very dear to any Indian. "Manchurian" is as dear a term to us as any pure Indian dish. And Indochinese resnts are a dime a dozen all over India.
Beijing Bites is near my home in Jayanagar, India. We went here on a Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is very clean, the staff are very friendly and the food is exquisite. I had rice with potato and garlic manchurian. The price is also reasonable.
The only drawback is that the waiters don't speak very good English. A lot of them have come from the Indo china borders and were lucky to escape militants and stuff, and have never had a chance to go to school or get formal education.
I'm told Beijing Bites is opening all over Bengaluru, no doubt it'll be a rocking success!
