Beer - A beautiful fishing village filled with those who like to drink Jul 21, 2011
If the name doesn't attract you then surely it's beauty will. Beer is a beautiful, quaint fishing village in Devon, England. Not your average seaside village riddled with tourists and tour buses but a place filled with charm and friendliness.

Beer is located on the Jurassic Coast, England's first natural World Heritage Site. Of course it boasts beautiful beaches and you can even spot Portland from the shoreline.

The village is home to the Beer Quarry Caves where you can find Beer stone, a type of Limestone. These caves are the only place in the entire world where you can find this particular limestone. It shouldn't surprise you then that its stone can be found in 24 cathedrals in the UK, including Westminster Abbey where Prince William married Kate Middleton!

Should you be lucky to visit stunning make sure you visit Beer, even if it's just to say 'I love Beer!'.
