Be'er Sheva is a city in Israel, near the Negev Desert. It is about three or four hours from Eilat, the resort area of Israel, and about three hours to Jerusalem.
Be'er Sheva is an industrial hub, and a military base of sorts. A common sight would be soldiers passing through the Central Bus Station. Through the CBS, many areas of Israel are accessible. Tickets can be conveniently purchased on the bus itself, though the risk of seats running out may occur, or in the bus station itself.
In April the weather is warm but not exceptionally hot.
