Bee Saigon/Bi Saigon

Situated above a restaurant, but on the 5th floor above up a winding staircase where the noise and smells don’t reach, the rooms are unusual with much character. They are designed presumably in a traditional house style with fake windows, bamboo rolls, a veranda roof over the bathroom, and part of a molded tree in the corner. Or ours was anyway. It was comfortable with a nice ensuite bathroom (with actual bath albeit a tiny one, and hot water). The food was pretty good and the service moderately friendly. We felt more comfortable taking our key for security rather than handing it in, though that was more a reflection on the dirty, pushy city surrounding, than the hotel itself. There was also free internet on an old computer at the back of one of the restaurants. I would stay here again.
