Amazing Clifftop Views May 04, 2011
I was planning a little trip to Cornwall and someone happened to mention this last minute, thought we would try it out.

There's a National Trust just prior to the steps and then you'll see the entrance at £2 to park it was a snip and the old guy in the hut was lovely!

The views are instantly amazing stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean and there are plenty of paths to engage in a spot of walking if that's your thing otherwise you take the steps down onto the beach - which is totally sandy, almost white sand (a rarity for a UK beach!) but make sure you're wearing appropriate footwear (I found this out the hard way!) the stairs are made of stone and are quite steep - trust me you don't wanna take a tumble.

It's an area of outstanding natural beauty and the perfect place in which to a picnic but be careful as the beach is totally immersed by the sea when the tide comes in! Seriously, check out the high tide times before you enter, take a timepiece (of some description) and whatever you do don't fall asleep!!!
