A good pub type place located very close to the University (2 minutes from the intersection of University Avenue and Bloor St). They have a good selection of draught beers and other drinks and the waiters are pretty friendly. In my opinion the best part about the "Academy" is that they have a large outdoor patio, perfect for Toronto's summers and I think you can reserve a section if you're arriving in a large group. The Academy isn't out-of-this-world or a completely unique experience but its a good place to have a few pints with friends. Take a look at their website http://www.thebedfordacademy.com/
