Beaver Creek Vacation Guide
Beaver Creek is a part of three base villages on I-70. Beaver Creek Village is the main and eastern most villages and is the heart of the resort area with Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead the other two.
Beaver Creek Resort is the product of master plan, resulting in a unique combination of mountain and village environments. Designed as a premier, year-round mountain destination, Beaver Creek successfully combines the western hospitality found on the mountain and in the friendliness of its employees with the European charm of its pedestrian village.
Before the resort was opened, it was named as a site for the 1976 Olympics, but it’s dream was killed. This couldn’t set them back and it has become a major resort in the area reviling resorts such as St. Moritz, Cortina, and Val d'Aran.
This is really a two season town, summer, with a host of outdoor recreational activities and winter, with the obvious skiing. I believe their tag line says it all, “Beaver Creek, Not exactly roughing it.” Vail is just up the road to the east and Glenwood Springs to the west. There are other towns close by like Edwards and Avon.
There is plenty of great shopping, great restaurants and great hotels. The rodeo series pass through town as do many summer concerts. There is something for everyone here.
Out of all the Ski mountains in the near by area this one is the best!!!

Vail, Colorado, USA -› Beaver Creek, USA -› …
I arrived in the US last December 05, 2006 coming from the Philippines. Since then, I've been working in two states - Colorado and Michigan. This coming summer 2008 I'll be working in Grand Teton, Wyoming. I love my work! =)I also got a chance to travel around during my off season mostly riding the greyhound bus. I've been to New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Michigan, and Francisco.
