Beaver Bay Vacation Guide
Beaver Bay is the oldest community associated with the Northshore Mining Iron Mine on the north shore of Lake Superior. The town sits on the Beaver River, which cascades down basalt rocks before entering into Lake Superior. Split Rock Lighthouse is just a few miles south of town with hiking and biking trails, camping, and guided tours of the lighthouse.
