Bäderbahn Kühlungsborn - the "Train Bus" Jun 29, 2009
The so-called „Bäderbahn“ is actually a car with several wagons that looks like a train but uses the streets. It does a round of Kühlungsborn West and Ost and can be used for tours of the town (explanations are given) as well as a public transport carrier. There are single tickets for a single ride, day tickets and weekly tickets that allow hopping on and off as much as you like. Get the leaflet with the timetable and a map of the line and the stops from the tourist information or, if available, at your hotel. This is the only local 'bus line' in town that serves the areas along the beach. Kühlungsborn is quite big, walking distances are longer than you may think, so this 'train' can be useful.

The Bäderbahn is suitable for handicapped travellers. The back car has some kind of ramp or lift and space for wheelchairs.
