Tasty Middle Eastern Food in Southporth @ Baytuti Oct 06, 2010
Were near Australia Fair and wanted to have lunch, while walking around we found this small restaurant. The offer in the area is quite large, but this place got my attention immediately since I'm a fan of Middle Eastern food.
The restaurant has a couple of tables outside, but also a few inside. It's small, but nice. You have to order the food at the front and then a waiter would take it to your table.
The crowd was mostly people who work in the area or other kind of regular customers. The place is quite new, but it's building a reputation among the Middle Eastern food fans. They offer hommus, baba ghannouj, labne'e, dips, falafel, kibbeh, grills, seafood, wraps and also desserts.
We were there for lunch and got:
-Mixed Grill (shish tawook, shish kebab and lamb kafta served with saffron rice and salad)
Food was very tasty and fresh. They are Halal and B.Y.O.
The staff was kind and helpful. I definitely will come back here next time I crave for Middle Eastern food. Falafel!!!
