Very, VERY good value Nov 07, 2009
Our experience started with an excellent concierge 'Danielle', who was kind enough to store our 8 bags of luggage behind the desk while we waited for our room to be cleaned. She was kind enough to detour the cleaning staff to our room so we could get in ASAP.
The hotel is very clean and inviting from the moment you walk in. The cafe where continental breakfast is served has a LCD tv and is lit by the Sun as you eat your breakfast. The room is clean and properly arranged to be conducive to both the business and family traveler. The bed is comfortable, and the in-room coffee maker is supplied with GOOD coffee! Our only note... and it's not a big deal, is the bathroom doesn't have an exhaust fan. And my poor girlfriend suffered dearly as a result (sorry!). Located near UNC Wilmington, this is a perfect place for visiting parents. Restaurants abound nearby so food is not a problem either. Car trouble? There are about 7 dealerships within 2 miles. The location here cannot be beat. All in all, I would not hesitate to return to this hotel and I would DEFINITELY recommend to any and all visiting the area. |

 An uncaring staff Apr 02, 2007
I left a ring and a bracelet in the room and called back the same day as my check out. Of course, no one saw it and returned it. The worst part is that the staff did not care and would not even acknowledge that someone had it and wouldnt give it...read entire review at TravelPost.com
