Booty Booty Booty Booty Rockin Everywhere!!! Sep 07, 2009
So being new to this travbuddy website, I thought that I should at least try and be a proactive member by contributing my thoughts about events that I’ve been too. So I thought I would share my most recent memorable experience at Bay to Breakers in May of 2009.

So here’s the breakdown of what it is for all who have not heard of it….

The Bay to Breakers is an annual footrace which takes place in San Francisco, California. The name reflects the fact that the race starts at the northeast end of the downtown area a few blocks from The Embarcadero (adjacent to San Francisco Bay) and runs west through the city to finish at the Great Highway (adjacent to the Pacific coast, where breakers crash onto Ocean Beach). The race is 7.46 miles (12 kilometers) long, and is run on the third Sunday in May. [1]

Pretty much it sounds like just your average marathon run but it’s so far from that. I was forewarned by several of my friends to expect to see the most outrageous things that I could ever imagine and what I saw far surpassed what I had prepared myself for. There were miles and miles of tens of thousands of bare asses staggering down the streets barely making it to the end because of the ridiculous amount of alcohol that was being consumed. The pictures that I am attaching do not do this event justice.....

I think everyone should attend this event once in their lives… If you don’t believe me, it’s in that 1000 things you should see and do before you die book.... or better yet google it...

Oh btw if you’re wondering….. I never made it to the end but I think I did tap out a keg on my own.

Bay to Breakers is the world's longest consecutively running footrace in the world. In true San Francisco fashion, it's not like other races. Sure, there's the usual athletes with their shorts and numbers, but add to that: naked people, giant pirate ship… Bay to Breakers: When San Francisco Gets Off Its Ass and Runs

It was the Bay to Breakers, which is an annual 12 mile cross city race, the park was a mess but it was very entertaining to see all the competitors (some in a right state) finishing the final bit dressed as flamingo's, robots and Smurfs among others… Bike tour
