A Wildlife Sanctuary in the City May 11, 2012
This is a great little wildlife sanctuary right across the street from the amusement park. Each year this place gets more developed and better.

Visitors can tour habitats in the fenced area or see/feed massive gaggles of geese and ducks. A new huge waterfall enhances atmosphere but improved water quality considerably.

Trails within the sanctuary area afford walkers sights of other animal like deer in the area. Kids can learn about various species and plants, and many families gather here for a day outdoors just to enjoy the scenery.

This is mostly free. Corn can be purchased for next to nothing to feed the geese and a gift store is on hand for picking up souvenirs.
New waterfall in the sanctuary.
