Bauhaus Seattle Reviews
May 31, 2007
In a city dominated by Starbucks, Tully's, Seattle's best, .. oh the list goes on, it can be at times, difficult to find a decent coffeeplace that isn't part of some major chain, esp in the defacto home of coffee in the United States but the Bauhaus is one of those places.
In Seattle's capitol hill neighborhood, the Bauhaus is a nice open space to read, hook up with wifi and enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea or a sweet.
Generally speaking, it sort of feels like a giant library room that you're sharing with 30 or 40 of your closest friends. Everyone from dark spec'ed web designer in the corner to the geek playing world of warcraft at the stools along the windows. The building faces one of the major streets in capitol hill which allows for all sorts of people watching opportunities and during the summer, tables are placed out along the sidewalks. Well, even then, there are tables still out but it can get kind of cold and rainy.
A good place to spend a bit of the morning, Stranger in one hand, cup of joe in the other.
