Europe's Tallest Monument Dec 21, 2010
The 'Battle of Leipzig' monument is a unique monument in that it is Europe's tallest monument, standing at 91 meters or 40 stories high. There are many levels at which you can see the city, the top level having binocular scopes for 25 Euro cents. Entrance cost six Euros, which lets you enter the monument and the museum. The museum is really cool! It has a miniature replica of the battle, a battle that involved roughly 600,000 soldiers and costing the lives of 100,000. There are old uniforms, horse saddles, and weapons.
