I decided to take a cross country road trip to gatlinburg tenn. on the way I stopped at friends places and expanded my road trip after the original cabin trip in gatlinburg, I head east to North Carolina to the outer banks, up north to MD to N.Y. withsights in between. after I left New York, I went thru PA to Ohio and spent a week there and had Tday with some friends. Travelling around the US right now. I have just stopped in New Orleans where I'll be working on a feature article on the Big Easy's three Rs: Reborn, Rebuild, Renovate.
Lots of organisations are still at work to mend the damages brought by hurrican Katrina in 2005.

It started innocently enough; I visited Juneau, Alaska in June 1993 and explored the State Capitol building. A few months later, It was Montgomery, Alabama's. In the course of time, it became a hobby. Near the end it became a bit of an obsession. Then, in August of 2006, I visited my 50th US State Capitol building in Pierre, SD. (Yeh!)
Yes, I know, I'm a geography nerd....
