After a restless nights sleep my phone rang at 6:59 for my wake up call. I've adjusted quite well to the new time zone. So far it hasn't affected me and I have had 0 jet lag. Last time I flew to Europe I had terrible jet lag. I felt awful. Every once in awhile I …

Two days after moving into our new home in Brussels and we had our first house guest. My brother Russell was in town on his first European vacation and visited us in Belgium in between mountain biking in the French Alps and his whirlwind tour around Europe. It was sunny and warm so, as I gave my word, I went back to Bath to enjoy the city with a nice weather! It is so different from last time: so shiny and busy!
We first had an English breakfast on a terrace in front of the Cathedral. A little bit less than 4£, it is okay... The food is not so excep…

Bristol and Jury’s Doyle Hotel was our destination where we have a couple of drinks to toa…

As we were only staying in Bath for the one night, after the great cooked breakfast we packed up the gear into the car and then walked into town to take a look around. The council puts on a free walking tour taking in all the sights and giving some history of the area. Couldn't pass up …

After Stonehenge we got back on the bus and drove to Bath. Bath feels

(mostly ver…

A few months ago, not long after my return from a hectic two weeks in Florida, I felt the need for a bit …
