Batad, Ifugao Apr 29, 2011
If you're planning on heading to Banaue Rice Terraces in the Northern part of Luzon, you should also visit and stay overnight in Batad, Ifugao. It's an isolated small village that sits at the bottom of the Ifugao Rice Terraces. It's a 40 minute trek from the junction but it's definitely worth it!

There are very cheap hostels/inn's at the village so there's no problem with accomodation. You can also try the local dishes.

Aside from the Rice Terraces ,there's also a beautiful waterfall "Tappiya falls" that's what it's called.

If you're looking for adventure then pay a visit to this small village.
