Part of my team decided to break away from the normal training rides of the Hill Country Ride this weekend and do another organized ride.  This ride is the Pedal Through the Pines Ride in Bastrop, Texas, which is about 45 minutes east of Austin.  Pedal Through the Pines benefits the Family Crisis Center in Bastrop and the surrounding area.  There were over 1300 riders in the event this year!
