nice hotel outside of the city centre of Amsterdam Mar 22, 2008
We found this hotel last second and it was a good choice (although we hadn't really one :-)) After a warm welcome we went to our double room. we were excited about the big bathroom containing a bathtube and two washbasins. There was plenty of space for our clothes and the beds were quite comfortable.

Safe and Sound Mar 17, 2008
My best friend and I took an 5 hour drive up/over to Amsterdam for the weekend. We had a difficult time finding a hotel because it was just a few days notice when our group trip was canceled. We lucked out and found a room at the Bastion Hotel. I was nervous because I was taking my personal car into the city. I didn't want anything to happen to it especially since I just made my final and last payment on it. My friend try to put me at ease about the parking. Our hotel was right next to the POLITE aka the police station. My car was safe and sound in the open air parking lot outside our hotel. Located outside the IT tunnel. The bus stop was just outside our hotel. It cost 2,50Euro to ride the bus stopping at the Central Station and the ticket was good for an hour later. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.
