The big white church on the hill! Jul 02, 2004
The Sacre-Coeur seems to be one of the better secrets that is not a secret. Because of it's location on Montmarte, most people either skip this sight because it's too hard or out of the way...or they stop by long enough to see the church then disappear. For a very small fee, you can walk to the top of the basilica where you have a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire city. You can't get a better view, even from the Eifel Tower! And to top it off you get Montmarte and the steps back down to the Pigalle area when you're done. Take the time to stop by and be sure to go to the top!
