Most Memorable Travel Experience
* Seeing the great pyramids at Giza rising up from behind houses for the first time is really an awe-inspiring experience. Those things are *big* !
* Arriving at the top of a mountain in the French Alps; doors of the lift open, a blizzard strikes full force at us. People stumble in the lift to go back, mumbling 'good luck', it all seems like the opening scene of 'Saving Private Ryan'. Disregarding everything, and still boarding down through the blizzard. Arriving down tired and broken. Celebrating it with hot coffee and cold beer. * Cycling along Amsterdam's canals on a dry day under a pale autumn sun has no comparison. It always makes me happy. * Diving in Egypt, seeing my first turtle, just relaxing on a reef. Turtles are really amazing creatures if you ever see them in real life :D * Meeting a lot of people from everywhere while staying at Hostel Mostel Sofia, making me totally forget that I didn't get any sleep the night before (stupid nighttrain :D) * Swimming down a fjord in Norway.
