The puertorican salsa temple in Paris Mar 29, 2009
For a puertorican salsa dancer staying in Paris the Barrio Latino is definitely a must. Every Sunday afternoon from 4pm to 7:30 pm the best party of whole Place at the bar/restaurant/club which makes you feel like Alice in the wonderland.
The music is top, the dancers too and for 4 hours the vibes are ebullient. It was planned by the Eiffel bureau and has four floors. On the ground floor there's a café/bar, on the higher floors there's a restaurant and on the fourth floor there's a night club. Everyhing kept in a mixture of art nouveau and oriental style. Alas, the prices are extraordinary high. The entry for the party is about 8 - 10 Euros (I don't know exactly as I got invited everytime) , cocktails about 15 - 18 Euros and even an Espresso is 4 Euros. So it's not the place to get drunk. A friend of mine had enthused about it all the evening before which finally had made me curious. But first we had some breakfast and went out to get some more or less fresh air. …Disfrute muchisimo el conocerla =) y me quedo la duda si en verdad existio el jorobado =)
Cruzamos el rio y vamos para el Barrio Latino, el quartier latin, re lindooooooo, bien pintoresco, lleno de gente, HERMOSO !!!!! lo paseamos bien, caminamos mucho, compramos algunos souveniers bien parisinos =) y enfilamos hacia los Jardines de Luxemburgo =) en camino pasamos por la Universidad de la Sorbona, bah, por el frente… Paris a Pleno disfrute !!!! |
