Days ago Adam and I were planning going to Barranco to party and today I talked to some friends and they'd be in Barranco too, yay! Furthermore, people at the hostel were thinking about going to Barranco too. Cool, the gang was getting bigger and bigger. But it was still early to go to Barranco… Friday night in Lima, get the party started :) |

During the karaoke Matt (an English TB who just moved to Lima) invited us to his place in Barranco. That sounds awesome! Christian would contact other people he met while he was traveling around South America and we all would go to Barranco together, great idea! We agreed to meet in Miraflores at 8pm and then see what happens. We met at the Brazilian… Friday night in Lima = Party time :) |

…He was still fighting against the cell phones here ;) Anyway, he was with some friends at a cafe and were thinking about going to Barranco, since one of them wanted to know the area. Well, I should say that this person is another traveler. She's from Latvia! The 1st person I knew from that country ;) Jim asked me if I'd like to join them to Barranco. Sure… so much Party at Friday night with Jim and new friends :) |

Had a bit of an easier day today, just wandered around the area of Barranco, where our hotel is situated. Near the Parque Municipal there are a couple of museums - one is the electricity museum and the other a museum of Peruvian handcrafts. The electricity museum was quite quaint, lots of early electrical items and even an old tram… Lima - Barranco |
