Barong Resort and Spa

This Hotel of 11 Villas could be one of the hot spots in Ubud, it have almost everything to be the best, but the personel don't care, they're so friendly and everything in front of you, but they don't do their job and the maintenance is ZERO.

Value: we paid 900USD for 4 nights, wich is correct for the villa that we stay (nr 3), a villa with private pool and also an outdoor small aquarium with fishes. The villa was AMAZING!

Location: Really close to Monkey forest, On monkey forest Road, so perfect location

Cleanliness: When we arrive our blankets were dirty and our bath ropes, dirty and broken, We complain and they changed, BUT REALLY BAD!

Amenities: Tv, but not DVD, Soaps etc but no Body lotion, no soap on the outdoor Shower, pickup at the airport for free, Airport lounge acces for free, 2 x 1 Hour massage for free, Candle dinner (without candles) for free, dance espectacle for free, no computers and internet connection

Bed: Perfect

Bathroom and shower: really nice bathroom but there were some fungus on the ceiling, the outdoor shower didn't work properly I have to fix it by myself

Service: we have to complain just arrived, and can complain the whole day but we don't do it.

What I don't like:

Blankets and bathropes dirty and broken

Pool light Broken and pool cleaning system I have to switch on by myself, anyway the water taste was like tap

Outdoor shower did not work properly and also don't have soap and gel (we complaint about this and they give us a set)

The bathroom have many fungus on the ceeling

We have a candle dinner on the villa without candles and they didn't remove the empty dishes until the morning, the table was full of ants....

No internet computers or conection

The spa's Jacuzy did not work so much and sudently the water turns into green stuff. lol


But the place is reallty beautiful let you feel that you're in the middle of the forest, the villas style looks like an ancient temple, it's really nice!!!!!

The day that the direction of this hotel kick the ass of the staff (specially maintenance) will be one of the best in Ubud FOR SURE
