Barefoot Cay

Barefoot Cay is a small, upscale resort, with private luxury bungalows and villas that are directly on the beach, as well as loft accommodations across the canal in the Barefoot Divers building with a beautiful ocean view. The resort owners are an American couple, John and Milesse, that live on property. Ammenities include a restaurant that prepares incredible food, which is not open to the general public, pool, palapa with swim ladders offering easy access to great snorkeling, two spa rooms, retail area, full-service dive center specializing in small groups (max 8) and excellent service, kayaks, gym room. All accommodations have air conditioning, Heavenly beds, TV/DVD, high speed internet, and fully equipped kitchens. It's the ideal spot for someone wanting something small and private- a romantic getaway, a splurge for a couple nights after months of backpacking, a family holiday, or a group trip. It's easy to get around exploring on the island by flagging a taxi, or renting one of the cars that the resort has available.

A top notch dive shop and resort with a great Dive Master Internship Program. They have the latest gear, comfortable boats, and great rooms for when the diving is done. Barefoot Cay has it all. I was impressed with every aspect of this resort and dive shop.
