Barcelona safety La Rambla and beach promenade Mar 03, 2011
Many will warn you about safety while traveling. I have seen how quickly a tourist can lose all their valuables. Walking along the beach promenade in Barcelona, a women was holding a LV handbag (the kind with handles not sholder straps) and a man rode pst her on a bike, sntched the purse, stuck it in his teeth and cycled off while the women screamed her head off and hobbled after him in her high heels.

Anyway, ladies, please pay attention! If you carry a purse or bag with you, make sure it is secured under your arm with you gripping its straps in front as well. The best kind of bag is an over the sholder strap with a zipper. However, I have heard that with a quick switch blade those can come off too.

Wow, you actually saw that happen? Unreal. Other than random acts of petty theft, how is it? I'm headed there next month.
