Good location,good value Nov 05, 2007
Might not have been overwhelmed by Barcelona, but this was a good hotel to stay at. Good sized comfortable rooms, with a great bathroom and shower. Well decorated and maintained,and found it very quiet. Easy walking distance to Las Ramblas and to the marina and it had a metro station right outside, which was great for our purpose of going to the Nou Camp as it was a direct line. Staff were really helpful in giving directions and recommending places to eat. There was free access to the web on the hotels PC's in the lobby and it had wi-fi in the room. There was a health studio, pool and rooftop terrace but we never made any use of them during our stay

Ended up getting express bus to the main station and then jumped onto the metro system to get to our hotel, The Universal in the Avenida Parrallel. Turned out to be a great choice of hotel and we were soon out and about. Found a cafe/bar to have dinner and walked up to the Placa Espanya. looked nice lit up at night and them… Barcelona Nov 07 |
