Really cheap accomodation in the very center of Barcelona, just next to a great absinth bar !
Free internet, but only a couple of computers, so you'll have to queue, unless you have your own computer with wi-fi. Free breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00. 12euros for one night in a 14beds room. Lockers with each bed, so it's really safe to leave your stuff. Everything is really clean. Great hostel, but I felt like with so many people around, it was almost impossible to really meet the other travellers and to spend time with them. This hostel is very convenient if you are on a tight budget. It is close to 2 metro stops and walking distance to las ramblas about 2 minutes. Simple and clean with the use of the computers and internet for free. They have secured lockers at each bed that you can only open. no curfew. And also they have breakfast in the morning which is cereal and toast and a couple of other things. Great hostel!

This hostel is right in the city central. It´s like 3min walking distance away from the Las Ramblas. Breakfast is included in the price and staff speaks perfect english and are really easy-going. They give you this pass that you are supposed to show when you enter in the hostel but nobody asked that from me, not even once. So I don´t know it the security that good after all. But there is a security locker next to every bed, so you can put your valuables there. There are any sized dorm rooms from 25€/night. I slept in a dorm where were like 15 beds in two storeys. It was little noisy byt not too much. It´s tidy, showers are good. Free internet.

So for the next two hours I wandered the streets of "Bordeaux" in search of a hostel that had space. I eventually stumbled across the Barcelona Mars hostel. In the hostel, the Aussie dude behind the country was intrigued to hear my Irish accent murdering the French language until his curiousity gave way and he told me that I had clearly… Since When Is Bordeaux Near The Sea?? |
