            So far I love Barcelona. I am not exactly sure what all there is to do here, but the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. We go in yesterday around noon, grabbed a quick bite t…hotel, but everything in the city is completely booked. It started to rain really hard so we went into an internet café, and spent about an hour looking for a good inexpensive hotel. We arrived late in the afternoon - hurried to the hotel and had a late lunch and a cold beer in the sun. Coming from rain and 15 degrees to a sunny 25 degrees Barcelona puts a smile on your face right away. We hurried to the conference and …hotel we went in to the inner city for some food and a couple of hours of relaxation. Day 2.  The 2nd day in BarcelonaGet up this morning and still in bed thinking of what happened the night before. At least the bed is really comfortable, nothing like sleeping naked when you have no luggage or change of clothes.I get up and chec…hotel. Tonight as a group we head out on the town and take the metro to the main entertainment area of the city. We go back to some hotel bar and have many many drinks here. it’s a crazy night. Thursday Today, we headed to Barcelona, just a few hours up the coast by train. Carlos gave us a ride and managed to swing in yet one final detour to some more of his favorite buildings. That man sure does love his city! And he was right, they wer…city! And he was right, they were all cool. Train to Barcelona? No problem.  Getting to our hotel....................... We're staying at the Marriott Renaissance out by the hotel, compliments of my in-laws, who are joining us tomorrow. Should be able to take… I don't want to hate Barcelona

As  our Spanish leader was detained under the mental health act ( its a long story) I ws given the task of taking 47 spanish kids onthe plane back to Spain. After no sleep the night the night before I boarded the plane to Bracleona at Gatwick A…Hotel just outside the city centre which was actually quite nice.
