 An oasis in the heart of Barcelona Mar 08, 2009
What a wonderful place. You enter through an unsigned door off a main street just off Placa Catalunya. It's in a great location to be in the middle of everything but quiet at night.
The guy at reception was very helpful and spoke good English. There are many guides that may borrow for use during your stay. The room is LARGE, wow! and high ceilings. The room is clean and painted in a sothing color. The bed is cormfortable and the pillows, soft. The bath is clean and has a tub. There is also a glass door to a private courtyard with umbrella, table and chairs. For the price, this oasis is hard to beat.

Excellent accomodation and lovely staff Sep 29, 2009
Myself and 2 girlie friends visited barcelona for the first time on 25th-28th sep 09 and what a fabulous time we had.. When we arrived to our apartments we were greeted by a lovely lady who gave us all the help we needed for a first class stay in a lovely clean safe and excellently situated gem of a place.. Our room was lovely and clean with fresh towels every day and the terrace was just an added bonus. We were a 3 min walk from las ramblas and literally 2 mins from the bus station so no airport taxis for us. It was also the Barcelona festival weekend which we didnt know about so we couldnt have asked for anything more.. We fell in love with the place and will definately return as we just want to see and experience more of this fabulous city and will certainly return to Hostal Barcelona Centre.. Barcelona Center House Information and Description
We offer rooms for two, three or four people with kitchen and private bathroom , fully equipped with air conditioning, TV and fridge. Some of the studios for 3 people have a private back terrace, one 'studio 4 people' has twin beds and one double-bed and other has a bunkbeds and twin beds, both have back terrace too.The back terrace rooms have a table so you can enjoy of relaxed moments and you can rest after visiting the city around
