If a hotel tells you they have air conditioning and promises to turn on the central air, don't always believe them. My experience was after four miserable days in a heated room during summer months the "ac" was not going to happen because I finally found out the hotel did not have air conditioning but rather tell me the truth up front, they kept putting it off as if I was going to leave them alone. The management went as far as to tell me that if I planned another trip to an area with Barcelo Hotels to not stay in them....now that's pretty bad!!! For the money I cannot express enough not to stay with Barcelo Hotels!!!
