Barbarossa Hotel Karlsruhe - Reviews - Karlsruhe

We found this hotel through surfing the internet. This is a family-run hotel as exemplified by two old couples always visible on the lobby and the kitchen; unfortunately, they do not speak and understand English that well. There had been misunderstandings about our reservation and they have put us on two separate beds instead of a double bed, and they said there was no other available accomodation for us. They did say sorry for that though. The only internet connection available is through a wired connection at the lobby and there is only one computer available. Breakfast is inclusive of the 78-euro stay per night and the old couple is friendly even with their limited English.

The place is 5 minutes away from the Congress and a 10-minute walk away from the shopping area ;) Parking is for 10 euros for 24 hours and is located 3 blocks away from the hotel.
