Barbarellah ApS Copenhagen Reviews
Great place with Latin soul and food Jul 01, 2011
Friday evening I was out with a friend, where the main target was to have a fun evening at Café Globen where they had Philippine karaoke night. After a couple of hours we decided to get some food and after some advice from a girl we met, we ended up in Barbarellah in Nørre Farimagsgade.
The restaurant bar was quite cool and it will not be the last time I visit it. The place has been open now for some years but it was the first time I was there. The main concept is Latin but without steaks, which I otherwise had hoped for. What they had instead was all kinds of empanada’s and saltena’s that they served with different salads.
I went for Chilean empanada, Cheese Empanada and Bolivian a saltena with and avocado celery salad. The food was really great and I had an Argentine Quilmes that I tasted for the first time.
The place had a DJ at the entrance and they played soft lounge music all evening, and it was a really great ambiance that they had managed to get at that place.
