Barahona Vacation Guide
Barahona is an area in the Dominican Republic that is absolutely beautiful. Unlike many of the other "popular" spots on the island, it does not have all-inclusives lining the beaches. There are so many beautiful views; many photographic opportunities. If you are looking to go partying, this is not your spot, but if you are looking to discover the natural beauty of the island, this is your place.
The only negative? It can get pretty hot and humid, depending on the time of year you go. And, there are a lot of bugs, make sure you have bug spray and a mosquito net.
