down the street from the Hotel Sahel Hebergement, Dori, Burkina Faso
Bar Relais Dori Reviews
simple but tasty Apr 30, 2010
The ideal place to go for a bite (or just drinks) in the evening if you're staying at the Hotel Sahel Hebergement, as it's just about 200 metres down the street.
You have to go and ask the cook what he's making. There is usually chicken with garlic. We've had carp in the past here too, but it's not always available. In any case, everything I've eaten here is excellent. Side dishes include chips (even better than in Belgium, according to my boyfriend, but obviously he is mistaken) and peas.
If you are with a group, you are allowed to order some dishes and share. They will just put everything in the middle of the table. You are expected to eat with your hands.
They had cold drinks here even when there was no electricity.
