The hot chocolate place Apr 12, 2009

When we were showing Elle around Leuven and she mentioned how she loved real hot chocolate, this is the place we took her to. It is in Grote Markt, overlooking the old townhall, so it is a little pricey but still good value. The attraction, of course, is the hot chocolate. What they bring out is a block of chocolate on a wooden stick (sort of like a lolly pop) and a glass of hot milk, and you stir the chocolate around the milk until it all melts in. It gets the nod of approval from chocolate lovers.

You can get hot chocolate like that in "De Werf" on hogeschoolplein as well. I even occasionally make it at home like that :)
