Bar Ca la Pruna Pals Reviews
A natural meeting point Feb 23, 2008
After a walk in the wonderful and touristic city of Pals we decided that it was time for yet a cold beer in the sun before it would disappear. We went back to the area known as Ca la Pruna, and which is located at the entrance to the old town centre.
Ca la Pruna is a fortified house dating back to the 15th century and is home to the Museum of Underwater Archaeology and numerous temporary exhibitions. This residential style museum has become the meeting point of the town alongside the Mirador of Josep Plà, which overlooks the Empordanet. The museum also houses a nice outdoor bar called Bar Ca la Pruna, where we decided to stay.
The service was friendly and quite fast but there were also not that many people at this time of year. It was a great place to stay; you had great views over the area and also view of all the traffic going in to the old town.
