Just west of Mikumi National Park on the A7 to Kidayi you'll find the free campsite of Baobab Valley. Situated between gorgeous baobab trees there is much space to put your tent. In fact, we were the only visitors, so we could choose the most beautiful spot. There is a small building with hot showers and toilets. They were clean and well functioning!

There's not much else than the baobab trees, perfect for a late afternoon or early morning stroll. In fact, the campsite is good for a stop if you're traveling from Dar to Iringa, but doesn't offer much more than tranquility. Nice for a change....
