This pizzeria, run by Madame Octavie Michel, is located right on Beau Vallon Beach on the North West coast of Mahé Island.
The restaurant is very simple, but charming and extremely popular. The interior is made of concrete benches with wooden seats and it has a sand floor. We ate both lunch and dinner here. Dinner is particularily lovely as you can watch the sunset from your table. If you´re not there when they open for dinner, expect to wait in line. Baobab Pizzeria serves salads, pizza, pasta and fish & chips. The only thing I did not try was the pasta. Everything else was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and the service extremely efficient. This is the place where you get the best value for your money in Mahé. The Seychelles being very expensive, here you can get a pizza for $ 8. To give you an example of what we had, these were the prices: Smoked fish salad $ 9,5 Tuna Pizza $ 8 Smoked Marlin Pizza $ 9,5 Fish & Chips $ 9,5 Bottle of water $ 2,5 Soft drink $ 3 You can pay in Seychelles Rupies, Euro or American Dollars or all major credit cards. I can highly recommended Baobab Pizzeria!
